During our October half term, María Recio, head of Dallington School, Paloma Valderrábano, Spanish department coordinator, and Cuchi Zapata, head of the school’s pastoral ministry, visited our charity project, Divine Mercy School in India.
Through the Dallington School Foundation, we are helping to educate more than 300 students who, until now, were barred from school simply because they belonged to the “Dalitz” caste. We are also helping to expand the school’s facilities so they can accommodate more students each year. Dallington School is collaborating with its teachers both in their training and in obtaining more educational resources.
At Dallington School, we not only want to educate our students to excel academically, but also to be socially and globally conscious individuals, people with strong values who are generous, caring, and committed citizens. Through projects like this, with a goal as beautiful as helping children like them, we can achieve this.
