Double Bac
The Dallington College Double Bac is the programme we have chosen at Dallington School for our Year 12 and Year 13 students. It is an exceptional educational option which combines flexibility and rigour. Its structure allows students to choose the subjects that best align with their interests and talents, giving them the opportunity to focus on what they really like, what they are good at, and, consequently, allowing them to obtain the best results for access to the university, both in Spain and abroad.

A-levels
Dallington School is accredited by Cambridge International Assessment and Pearson Edexcel to develop our rigorous and demanding syllabus, and for our students to take their official Advanced Level (A-Level) examinations.
A-Levels are recognised qualifications in Spain. Their validation is straightforward and allow access to Spanish universities. Thanks to the agreement signed between Spain and the United Kingdom in 2023, students who take A-Levels can access Spanish universities without having to take the PAU (formerly known as Selectividad). The average mark obtained in the 3 or 4 A-Levels subjects is validated with the general PAU exam (up to a mark of 10).
PCE
Like any student in the Spanish Baccalaureate, those students applying to public university, or a high-demand degree with a cut-off mark above 10, have to sit the Prueba de competencia específica (PCE).
At The Dallington College, we offer classes to prepare our students for these PCE examinations, allowing them to obtain up to 4 additional points.
Our Double Bac (A-Levels + PCE) programme, guarantees that our students can access any university, public or private, in Spain or abroad.

RECOGNITION
Dallington School is an official centre authorised by the University of Cambridge. Its Baccalaureate programme, Cambridge International A-Levels, is one of the most recognised and valued qualifications for university admission, both in Spain and internationally.
Flexibility
Unlike the Spanish system, which is rigid in both the general and specific exams, our Double Bac programme is flexible in terms of subject choice. It allows students to choose the 3 or 4 subjects they are best at. This helps them to obtain better grades in their A-Levels and therefore a better university entrance score.
