Last September 28 was a very special day for our school.
More than 70 families came together to take part in the CRIS against Cancer Run, a charity event raising funds for childhood cancer research. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to every family who participated and, through their effort, helped us achieve this noble goal.
We would also like to congratulate our dear Carmen Leyva, the best ambassador for CRIS against Cancer, who received the award for the team that raised the most funds — surpassing €48,000!
An extraordinary achievement that shows the positive impact we can create and the remarkable example we can set for our children when we join forces for a good cause.
This year, we have decided that CRIS against Cancer will be the beneficiary of the funds raised at our End-of-Year Charity Party—an event that will be even more special as we celebrate our 10th anniversary.
What better way to mark this milestone than by honouring all the loved ones who are no longer with us because of this disease, and by offering special support to the mothers in our school community and to our dear Antonio, who are bravely fighting their own battles. To them, we send all our love and strength.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to CRIS against Cancer for inspiring us to be better and for showing us how much can be achieved with just a little willingness. And once again, thank you to all our families for your unwavering support and for helping us continue to educate our children in the values of solidarity, empathy, and social commitment.
