Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 and 9)
In Key Stage 3 there are changes. However, the curriculum and co-curriculum is very similar than in Primary. Pupils develop their knowledge deeper, and acquire more complex skills. They are taught by specialist teachers and, gradually, in specialist and subject rooms.

- Day-to-day in-school formative assessment, an integral part of teaching and learning: the interactions between learners and teachers.
- Assessment through written and oral exams.
Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11)
In the last two years of compulsory secondary education in the British system (Year 10 - 3ºESO and Year 11- 4ºESO) students follow the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) program, through which they are prepared to the exams that take place in May of Year 11. Research, creativity and a hands-on teaching approach continue to be part of the school's day-to-day life.

- International Baccalaureate
- At Dallington School we offer in the last courses the International Baccalaureate in English. This is made up of:
- Three backbone components:
- Theory of Knowledge, in which students reflect on the nature of knowledge and the way in which we know what we claim to know
- The Monograph, which is an independent research project directed by the student himself that culminates in a 4,000 word essay
- Creativity, Activity and Service, in which students complete a project in which helping others is essential.
The IB is an internationally recognized program, present in more than 140 countries. It offers students a broad, creative curriculum in which they must promote their autonomy and capacity for work. Our students will finish at Dallington School with the best possible grades, with in-depth knowledge, a broad capacity for critical and analytical thinking, and fundamental social and emotional skills for their future.
