Why choose Dallington School?
- Because in our school we take care of each student, so that they are happy, good people, competent, confident and thoughtful. Each student is and feels unique, and receives constant monitoring and support, both academically and personally.
- Because we are a very special school in its style: cosy and familiar, but modern; cutting edge in its methodologies and traditional in its principles and values.
- Because our students grow up in a healthy school, in which they are taught to have healthy relationships, to be emotionally intelligent, to take care of themselves with the regular practice of sports and to eat properly. We only offer organic food in our school.
- If anything characterises the teaching staff in Dallington School, it is their rigour, their enthusiasm, and their strength. Assesment is a fundamental part to achieve that rigour. Our goal is to analyse all the evidence of the progress of each of our students, define next steps and thus help our students to reach their full potential.
- The academic itinerary that we offer in secondary school: British curriculum and IGCSEs up to 16 years old, and International Baccalaureate, the last two years of preparation for university, gives them the skills and knowledge that will allow them to study at the university they want in the country they want.

- Three backbone components:
- Theory of Knowledge, in which students reflect on the nature of knowledge and the way in which we know what we claim to know
- The Monograph, which is an independent research project directed by the student himself that culminates in a 4,000 word essay
- Creativity, Activity and Service, in which students complete a project in which helping others is essential.

British School Madrid opinions
