In Secondary, that support evolves to encourage greater independence and organisational skills.

At Dallington, both stages share the same values and educational philosophy, helping pupils approach the transition with confidence and a sense of security.

Communication and Thinking Skills: skills that grow with our pupils

One of the defining features of our educational approach is the importance we place on communication and thinking skills.

From Year 2 to Year 9, our pupils study Communication and Thinking Skills (CTS), a subject in which they learn to organise their ideas, prepare speeches, give presentations and speak confidently in public.

These skills develop as pupils grow, from their first experiences speaking in front of classmates in Primary to more sophisticated presentations and arguments in Secondary.

CTS is an example of how, at Dallington, we develop skills that stay with pupils throughout their school years, adapting to their age and maturity.

One educational vision, different stages

From Primary to Secondary, the challenges, responsibilities and ways of learning change, but our approach to education remains the same: knowing each pupil, valuing their abilities and providing the opportunities they need to fulfil their potential.

We invite you to discover Dallington School and experience our educational approach first-hand.

Choosing a British school means understanding how its education system is structured and how learning develops as children grow.
