Secondary School is divided into two Key Stages: <strong>Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4<\/strong>.<br>Academic progress is measured by teachers at the end of each stage. From Secondary onwards, teaching is delivered by specialist subject teachers. Each year group has a form tutor who oversees pupils\u2019 academic progress and personal development.   <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"> <\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\">High academic standards and expectations are always accompanied by Dallington values \u2013<br>responsibility, kindness, effort, respect, good manners and honesty. Key Stage 4 is an intense and decisive period, during which students gain independence in their study habits. Dallington pupils typically sit seven to nine IGCSE exams, including compulsory subjects (English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Combined Science, Spanish and French) and a choice of optional subjects such as Art, Computer Science, History and Business. Teachers help pupils build confidence for these examinations by gradually introducing the specific vocabulary and question formats they will encounter, without changing our active, creative and enquiry-based teaching approach.
